MISSION STATEMENT

The mission of this Corporation shall be to offer to individuals, ages nineteen (19) and under, the opportunity to play organized baseball in a competitive atmosphere, and to further enhance the baseball community in Green Bay, Wisconsin.

HISTORY

This program began in the 1960's as the West Side Legion program. We continued during the decades and became Southport Legion as Legion programs in the area expanded and we incorporated Bayport High School, and Notre Dame Academy. Bayport has since begun their own program and we continued with our affilitation with Notre Dame Academy and Southwest High School. The Wave is a member of the Wisconsin American Legion Baseball program. We are also a member of the Fox River Valley American Legion Baseball League as members of the National Conference South Division. Our program includes both a Varsity and Junior Varsity program.
